The Drive Thru dry Wheel Cleaning system removes mud and debris from vehicle tyres using a patented angle grid design. As the vehicle crosses the system the angle grid design flexes the tyres treads open and closed over at least 160 times, loosening contaminants which are then completely removed by the rumble strips onto the ground below.
Using the unit is simple and only takes seconds. Vehicles drive over the system at 10mph and the mud and debris is removed from the tyres before the vehicle leaves the site.
Installation
The Drive Thru dry Wheel Cleaning systems can be ready to use within the hour and needs no special requirements, NO water, NO electricity, NO operator or engineer and NO moving parts. Making it safe in efficient.
The Wheel Cleaning unit is simply positioned by the site exit.
Its then lifted into position.
And its ready to go, within the hour! NO ground works or mains installation required.
And because of the modular nature of this Wheel Cleaning system, relocating the unit to another site or position is quick and easy.
Cleaning
The Wheel Cleaning unit requires no heavy cleaning, once the unit becomes full from the mud and debris that has been deposited (aprox 20 cubic meters), it simply needs lifting using an onsite piece of equipment. e.g. Hymac, JCB. Then the mud cleared.
The Result
As seen below the before and after pictures show that the mud has been completely removed from the tyres after using the dry Wheel Cleaning system, just seconds earlier.
This revolutionary new system really works! Immediately after our Dry Wheel Cleaning System was introduced to the site exit below, the mud and contaminants were kept on-site and the highway remained clean and safe.
Models and specifications
Our dry Wheel Cleaning systems are available in two different models and relies upon a delicate balance of matching all weather conditions, cohesiveness of on-site materials, length of unit and overall site conditions in general. The Ecoclean model is our original design which is applicable to many site situations particularly where budgets are tight.
The Econoclean and Econoclean Plus were developed because it was recognised that the variety of site conditions encountered are hampered by a number of exterior factors such as proximity to site exit, space available, straightness of entry and exit, type and size of vehicle wheels and capability for misuse, avoidance and cross contamination from other site vehicles. This range is more robustly engineered and carry a longer term guarantee which is superior to any other available in the Wheel Cleaning industry.
In effect the design refinements have enabled wheels to be cleaned more aggressively over a shorter length in more difficult and variable site conditions to satisfy the requirements of customers, town planners and environmental health officers throughout the UK.
